Academic Projects
- Selected Graduate Projects
- Development
of an intrusion detection system using wireless sensors (SunSPOTs)
and RFID reader. Using the accelerometer of the SunSPOT, motion of the
access door was sensed and used to activate the reader, thus,
preventing continuous read operation by the reader.
- Development of a wireless sensor (Crossbow MicaZ) network testbed for environment sensing with a Web based UI for measurement threshold manipulation.
- Development
of a Hidden Markov Model based estimation tool for predicting the shelf
states of an RFID enabled smart retail store.
- Undergraduate Senior Projects
- Design
and simulation of an ASIC chip architecture of the TCP protocol.
Simulation was done using Verilog XL and synthesis using Synopsis EDA
tools at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
Aug 2000 to Mar 2001.
- Design
and implementation of a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for mobile devices
at the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Kharagpur.
May 2000 to Aug 2000.
